SAN JOSE, Calif., May 6, 2026 – Point2 Technology, the leader in ultra-low-power, low-latency, high-density, RF, and mixed-signal interconnect SoC solutions for scalable AI data center infrastructure,  today announced the appointment of Christopher Kitching as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Kitching will lead all financial strategy, planning, and operations as Point2 accelerates commercial deployment of its breakthrough e‑Tube™ interconnect technology.

Kitching brings more than two decades of global finance and operations leadership across the semiconductor, cloud, and enterprise software sectors. He previously served as CFO and VP of Operations of ClariPhy Communications, where he helped guide the company through rapid expansion and exit, and as CFO of Databook, where he led all finance, accounting, legal, and IT functions. In addition, Kitching has extensive technology investment experience working in both the venture capital and private equity industries.

“Christopher’s experience scaling high‑growth technology companies and navigating complex financial and operational environments makes him an exceptional addition to the Point2 leadership team,” said Sean Park, CEO and Co-Founder of Point2 Technology. “His background in semiconductors, systems, and enterprise markets aligns perfectly with our mission to deliver the most energy‑efficient interconnect solutions for AI infrastructure.”

“Scaling AI compute is only half the challenge — solving the interconnect bottleneck is equally difficult and absolutely essential,” said Kitching. “Point2’s technology directly addresses this barrier with an elegant, energy‑efficient solution. I’m excited to help drive the company’s next phase of growth.”

Kitching holds BS and MS degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
